Where I work...

This is my current position for most of each day, now that digitizing is my mainstream work.
My normal day can be 12-17 hours, interspersed with little breaks, because thats recommended when working at a computer.

My average days can extend up to 18 hours on quite a few days sometimes, so, good lighting is essential for me..This allows me to actually manage the long days. Its not good to really work 18 hours, but having the right equipment etc helps. I have seen some digitizers try to work extended hours in fluorescent light..its not really good to do that, neither is it good for eyes in the long run. Even if your eyesight is 20/20, you can be sure if youre a digitizer,it wont stay that way long in bad light.
The difference that you'll see in the pic, is the light intensity in comparison to fluorescent..I just dimmed it a bit , but in actuality, the brightness is great.
